WoW is currently dead at the moment. I don’t feel like pressuring people into recording a show when nothing at all is happening in the scene. When stuff happens, we’ll record something. Right now everyone is playing SC2.
We’ll do a show here in a couple weeks when some announcements come through.

Would be interesting to do shows on the various BG scenes. One show could be just people from Reckoning, one from Bloodlust, one from Stormstrike, etc. There’s so much to talk about aside from LANs. With adequate notice you could get listener questions, too.

I really like the perspective that you guys get from the LAN events. Lots of interviews and coverage at the LANs of the players feels really produced/canned/not real. When people come on your show to talk about how the event was, what players thought about other players, and what was going on off the Camera it is genuine and real. I really like hearing how people really feel about what happened and there was definitely stuff worth discussing in a sort of IEM wrap-up.
My read of the “wow is dead” excus is that it has now been a month since the event happened and so I guess the pro community at large doesn’t really give a fuck anymore (thus, they are all playing SC2). This is why people are unwilling to record and produce an arenacast.
I guess I will say that even though there will probably be some raging for lack of a show in here I’d like to thank you for at least making a post saying you aren’t planning a show in the immediate future so that we aren’t waiting and mashing F5 for the next couple weeks.
