This week we had CEO of ProjectLivestream dsox on to talk a little bit about the technology him and his crew are building over at ProjectLiveStream.com and announce something ArenaCast fan’s will like pertaining to Saturday Night Fights.
Our guests for the week include dsox, Azazael from Team EG and Venruki of Complexity. I also want to remind people that next week we will be doing a live show.
I will post the specifics of the live show sometime throughout the week (Wednesday-ish, after finals) but it will most definitely take place on Saturday, just not sure what time. Thanks for listening!

UPDATE: Show can now be found below. Hope you guys enjoy. We added another European in Boozt. See you guys next week for our 3.1 show.
Don’t be alarmed, the podcast isn’t up yet (and won’t be up till about 10ish Wednesday night). I just wanted to inform everyone that usually listens to the show live that this week we’re going to try going back to recording the show, kicking it old school. This will allow for more edits, more segments (without downtime) and technical errors should be lowered a lot as well.
We’re going to try to improve the show a lot in the upcoming weeks so just be prepared for some cool, new segments, as well as some awful segments which we will never go back to ever again. I’m not going to spoil much for tomorrow’s episode however so you’ll just have to wait for it tomorrow night.
I can however tell you who’s going to be on the show: Forteh and Roguemonkey. If you would like to ask questions to either of these two gentleman send them to questions@arenacast.net. Also any other questions you have for the cast feel free to send them there.
So once again, there will be no live show tomorrow April 8, 2009. Talk to you guys tomorrow via a downloadable podcast!
We had a last minute roster change for the night. Serennia and Oplaid both bowed out (due to personal reasons) and we had the last minute addition of Zilea, currently fourth place on the Tournament Realm running the popular Paladin / Warlock / Death Knight comp.
In the show we discuss the the ArenaCast Graphic Contest, Tournament Realm, the ever popular WPD comp, the latest on the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, and also the new PTR build that was posted during the show.
Next week on the show we have Minor from eMg (OMG A GURL WOT) and the rest of the cast should return. If you guys haven’t checked out LiveOn3 yet please do so if you are at all interested in e-sports. They’re website can be found HERE along with past shows. Thanks and see you guys next week.
Below you can find our two, three to five hour streams during ESL. The first night is only recorded about halfway through. The second one is right at the start (but we have no intro, didnt expect these to be recorded).
I had planned to cut these up and put them on youtube over the ESL videos but recording them in real time with a what-u-hear codec was too taxing on my computer due to the audio files in audacity being over 8gb. If anyone wants to cut them up etc then feel free — my PC cant edit 8gb audio files with a quickness. Embeds after the jump. Enjoy! Read more…
Tonight’s show was… well, it was filled with drama. Usually I tend to try and make our shows not about drama, but alas I could not keep the fox contained, especially with Happyminti calling him forth. So there’s that.
There is also some great talk about the ESL tournament, Patch 3.1, and of course user questions! Yay! That reminds me: all questions can be sent to questions@arenacast.net and we will get them next week. So thanks for listening, lets go for a record download again. Share this to all your friends, etc.
Sorry for the late upload, technical (idiocy) problems delayed it. See you all next week.
Temporary Alt Download Link, only up for a little bit: HERE
The regular crew (minus oplaid) sit down and discuss the upcoming ESL event. Also we talk about how we’re doing nightly commentating for the ESL event starting at 3 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) night. Tune into the Ustream link below around that time to hear us tomorrow night at about 3 a.m. Thanks for listening to the show!
On a side note the past two weeks we’ve been really close to hitting a landmark number of downloads. Lets try for it this week. If we hit it, we might be able to give something away to our listeners! Spread the love!
