Sorry for taking a couple hours to get this up. I was at school all day so I was extremely tired come show time, even lost my voice the second time I talked (as you can tell by my voice slowly sounding like I was about to take my last breath) so I went to sleep right after the show.

But anyways, on with the blog! (I apologize for the autoplay from the embed, its a bug with GameRiot’s site, not with the embed because autoplay function is set to false)

On the show I stated that I wanted to get away from GameRiot as much as possible and this is only for one reason – its a closed audience. I’m trying to open the show up to all pvp’ers, not just the ones here on GameRiot. You can see the problem when I have to go to another forum and post a link to a blog here on this site, when the site already has a negative stigma attached. So I might move to a general word press blog, but I’ll definitely always use my Twitter page.

That is, THIS PAGE. I mentioned it in my past blog that I was going to setup a twitter for the show. After talking to the rest of the cast they all stated they don’t really feel like micro-blogging (or any blogging at all, fgts). So I just setup my own Twitter. It will be used most of the time for e-sports updates from everywhere (GotFrag, SK-Gaming, team sites, and eventually ESFI). It’ll just be a central area for all things e-sports. I’ll try to keep personal things out of it but I can’t promise anything. Sometimes I get extremely bored in class.

Oh yeah. We recorded last night. Way to wait till the fourth paragraph to talk about it me. The show went well, save for a couple Robo-Cop voices out of Sam / others. I think this has something to do with the fact that I am out-streaming from my laptop which is on a wireless connection (the LAN port is fucked). There were also some first-time segments that we’re going to tweak/overhaul in the future. Here is the VOD from last night below.

I don’t have a direct download for you guys, but starting next week I am going to record Skype at the same time so there should always be a direct download after that.

The first is the Movie Review. The movie we were talking about can be found HERE. It was pretty dull and boring, especially since only two (three but Sam is quiet) of us actually contributed / watched the movie. In the future we’ll probably have the ratings thing setup a little bit better, as well as the different judging categories better defined. I’ll probably announced on Monday or Tuesday what our “Movie of the Week” is going to be and post the download link on Twitter so people know what the fuck we’re talking about. Perhaps I can get it playing on the stream in the background, but not promising that.

Next up is the user questions. It is pretty hectic trying to select all the user questions on the fly, and ask for them at the end of the show from users, only for users to go to the countless places we’ve spammed the show link (GameRiot, AJ.com, WoW forums, Nurfed, etc). So I set up an e-mail for this (which should have been done a long time ago). That email is ARENACAST@ESFIWORLD.COM. Feel free to e-mail all questions to here. I’ll try to say this as much as I can at the beginning of the show so you can e-mail it and then I’ll chose from it at the end.
