This list of classes looks to be quite outdated as it’s safe to assume there will at least be one Death Knight at the tournament considering Kill E A recently dropped out of the EM Finals recently because that class is so overpowered!

The compositions are a relic of the qualifying round at the end of last year and start of this year, so expect things to be a lot different in Germany. X6tence has practiced extensively with Hunter, Paladin, Death Knight and other teams like SK are known to have played with the new class, so don’t think the tournament will play like a relic from the past. In fact, Jay “2GD” Harding of ESL TV stated on today’s ArenaCast that the class list is “what the team’s want others to think they’re running” and not what we’ll actually see at the event.

As for who to expect on top, it’s always a safe bet to go with experience, so Nihilum Plasma, x6tence.AMD, and SK Gaming seem like locks to advance. Even so, this will be the first LAN tournament ever for Wrath of the Lich King, so anything can and probably will happen in such a volatile metagame.

Expect more updates on ArenaCast.net as information becomes available leading up to the Extreme Masters final!
