Yeah, I know. I didn’t do a Day One watch post. But Two is always better then one, because as Three Dog Night said “One is the loneliest number that you’ll ever do.”

Now I’m not “doing” any numbers, so don’t get your hopes up. What I am going to do is a daily post about the status of arena around this time until it comes up. So if it comes up today, this might be the last post ever of Arena Watch. How dramatic.

So I was thinking to myself on the drive home, what exactly does a professional WoW player do when the arena is taken out of the game? Well, some of the pros told me!

Nathan ‘Kintt’ Quinn said as of 12:32 p.m. CST that he just got done doing some jumping jacks and now he’s going to go play the piano. So a workout AND culture? Perhaps they should stay down for this young man!

Newly acquired player Elliott ‘Venruki’ Venczel of compLexity Gaming has been returning to previous games such as the infamous retirement home of gamers, Defense of the Ancients (Warcraft 3 mod), and slaying some zombies in Left 4 Dead. I beat I could take you in DoTA good sir. Me and Igoaf have been known to decimate games (when I am not banned).

Corey ‘emolol’ Ratliff of Gravitas Gaming says he’s actually been leveling a hunter and when he isn’t raiding or leveling he’s playing “mass DoTA”. I think after being destroyed so much in the arena as a Rogue, he wants to feel what it is like on the other side, but he simply states “just need another class to play.”

Other pros were unable to talk (probably something to do with its only 1 p.m. CST) but its always fun to take a guess at what some of them are doing. Perhaps Vance ‘Serennia’ Phuoc is finally taking the time to wash those khaki’s and t-shirt we’ve seen him at every tournament in because he was wearing them still during last nights cast (you’ll have to listen to find out why I know this).

Although not a full professional, maybe Swarm is raging nonstop at his computer screen now? Who else is he going to yell at? Enough speculation.

Blizzard has once again remained silent since their blue post yesterday about closing the arena. Maybe later today we’ll see some new news on the subject. And now for the random media. Cosby is pissed, Blizzard. You best bring the arena back.
