Hai there. My computers all better now. To celebrate we’re doing a live show tomorrow! Yay! We’ll start ~4ish. I say approximately at 4 because the Wing King might not make it in time due to, well, eating wings or the Crazy Cajun might be busy eating some grilled squirrel.
I’ll probably start up some sweet beats tomorrow morning though and as it comes closer to showtime I’ll start playing some sweeter beats (and by sweet I mean Japanese Synth Pop or something).
Tomorrow plan is to do a full-blown MLG Columbus preview. Breakdown each team, make some predictions, and of course talk about all the latest happenings in WoW. Everyone is dieing to know what bear form color Kynty is going to choose right?
Recorded show will be up sometime tomorrow night. Not going to give any time promises because I’ll get hounded if I do! Special guests are unknown as of yet. Who knows who will be on the show? See you all tomorrow.

JP was unable to make it today, but the show must go on! Myself and Kintt sat down with Serennia to talk about a few of the recent changes affecting arena, ESL’s invitational tournament which took place on Wednesday and also the upcoming MLG Columbus event.
I apologize for the short show as it was last minute, but I figured something is better than nothing. We weren’t able to get into any of the user questions (blame JP) but we’ll make up for it on next week’s show. There will be plenty to talk about as we take an in-depth look at MLG’s first WoW event of the year.
If you have questions for us, e-mail them to questions@arenacast.net and we’ll be sure to answer them. Also remember to idle #arenacast on irc.gamesurge.net

Computers suck. Sure, they’re fine and dandy when they’re working properly. It never crosses your mind that one day (or in my case one month) it could all come crashing down — until it does. Two weeks ago it was a motherboard. Now its a video card.
So why should you care at all? Well, getting a show out today is up in the air. Regardless of what happens, it definitely will not be live, but we might be able to bring you guys a recorded show. I’ll update a little later in the day on if a show will be up tonight or not.

UPDATE: Podcast is up for download (see below). Quick heads up though. Due to Vista and me not working so well together (I want to like it so bad) I wasn’t able to record like I normally do for the show. This is both why the show is up so late today after the live show and also why halfway through the show it lags pretty bad. I had to play it back, in real time, from ustream and record it. Hopefully by next week I can figure out a work around for this. Thanks for listening!

PC is working. Gotta download Skype, recording software, and editing software, but that won’t take too long. So as promised, tomorrow we’ll do a live show at 4 p.m. CST.
Goaf, Kintt, myself, and some other special guests will deliver a little longer show to make up for missing a week. We’ve also got a special announcement tomorrow (OMG IM THE WORST HYPER EVER IT’LL CHANGE EVERYTHING… JAYKAY… but it is pretty cool) so look forward to that in the opening of the show.
If you have questions for us, e-mail them to questions@arenacast.net and we’ll be sure to answer them. Also remember to idle #arenacast on irc.gamesurge.net (or connect to the channel HERE)
I’ll post the Ustream embed here tomorrow around 2 p.m. CST-ish (I have to remember to wake up). We’ll see you guys tomorrow!… or, you’ll hear us tomorrow. Whatever. We’re back.

Just keeping people updated since our last post garnered a bunch of comments. I should be receiving new motherboard tomorrow (Thursday) and if all goes right (meaning it was the motherboard causing problems, and its not DOA) we should be good to go for a show on Saturday — a live show. I’ll post more details tomorrow. Thanks.

UPDATE: JP’s PC finally died. No show tomorrow. Hopefully he can order a new motherboard sometime this week because without it we cant do shows. We’ll keep everyone updated. Awesome start to the summer.
We’re going to attempt a live show tomorrow (Saturday, May 9) at 4 p.m. CST. We haven’t really talked about who’s going to be on, what the shows going to cover, or anything like that, but I just wanted to make people aware that a live show will be happening.
Remember to hang out in #arenacast on irc.gamesurge.net to chat with us and with other listeners. If you don’t have mIRC installed, click HERE and you’ll be in the channel. See you all tomorrow.

This week we had CEO of ProjectLivestream dsox on to talk a little bit about the technology him and his crew are building over at ProjectLiveStream.com and announce something ArenaCast fan’s will like pertaining to Saturday Night Fights.
Our guests for the week include dsox, Azazael from Team EG and Venruki of Complexity. I also want to remind people that next week we will be doing a live show.
I will post the specifics of the live show sometime throughout the week (Wednesday-ish, after finals) but it will most definitely take place on Saturday, just not sure what time. Thanks for listening!
