Our first ever Saturday Night Fights Live was recorded earlier today (6 p.m. CST, new time). It went alright, some technical mishaps (me not recording, not being able to play all three YouTube streams in Ustream, etc). I’m open to any and all criticisms and most likely won’t be spreading this new cast of ours around to other forums until we tweak it out a little bit.
So how’s it work? Well, first you need to download Celex’s new video HERE. Once that’s done (its 700mb, might be a bit) make sure you have the podcast downloaded and then start it up. We do countdowns and stuff like that, still working on the best way to keep it in sync. Let me know what you guys think. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Due to YouTube being a giant pain in the ass (or perhaps its Ustream, not sure) it’s not letting me stream the first video on it. So, what we’re going to do is release the movie an hour before hand (5 p.m. CST) for people who will be watching live and then we’ll do a countdown during the show. So watch this space at 5 p.m. CST! Once again the arenacast roster was all over the place. Minor was unable to be on the show but she was replaced by Zyz, a rogue hero, with stories from their trip through Europe. Serennia was also unable to attend due to dragon slaying, but was still there in spirit.
In the show we discussed the tournament realm, 3.1’s impending changes, rogues from zyZ’s perspective, the rating changes to season six and as always plenty of drama about a fox, wolf and wings.
We were able to cover a lot of the questions that you’ve all been sending in so keep them coming!

I’ve been busy the past couple weeks so that’s why there haven’t been many updates. For now I’m just releasing a couple bug fixes to SpellAlerter. You can expect something new next week!
We had a last minute roster change for the night. Serennia and Oplaid both bowed out (due to personal reasons) and we had the last minute addition of Zilea, currently fourth place on the Tournament Realm running the popular Paladin / Warlock / Death Knight comp.
In the show we discuss the the ArenaCast Graphic Contest, Tournament Realm, the ever popular WPD comp, the latest on the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, and also the new PTR build that was posted during the show.

Below you can find our two, three to five hour streams during ESL. The first night is only recorded about halfway through. The second one is right at the start (but we have no intro, didnt expect these to be recorded).
I had planned to cut these up and put them on youtube over the ESL videos but recording them in real time with a what-u-hear codec was too taxing on my computer due to the audio files in audacity being over 8gb. Tonight’s show was… well, it was filled with drama. Usually I tend to try and make our shows not about drama, but alas I could not keep the fox contained, especially with Happyminti calling him forth. So there’s that.
There is also some great talk about the ESL tournament, Patch 3.1, and of course user questions! Yay!
